Footer Height

Hi Guys:
I’ve fiddled around with footer sizes and padding height but can’t seem to “shorten” the height of the footer on mobile
I use 3 widget format. Desktop is nice - across width.
Mobile puta the 3rd widget (TEXT) way at the bottom on mobile showing a very LONG, distance between the 2nd widget and 3rd way at bottom of mobile page—any ideas?
Thanks
Howard
PS
Is their a default/ setting for # of posts ( excerpts) shown on homepage?
Can Toms “ show post” plugin be used for recent posts on sidebar widget?
( use another plugin for that)
Thanks
Hi there,
I assume you've added some empty paragraphs for footer widget 2 & 3 so it's longer?
If so try using the bottom padding instead:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/footer-padding/
Then we can adjust it for mobile if you wish.
Can you open separate topics for separate questions?
Thanks!
Yes
Re-adjusted the widgets a bit and actually, if you look at it , the first 2 are quite perfect indeed.
The last line,( not much there) is far down.
Wondering how it would appear if I somehow managed to fit the last 2 into a 2 column widget setting????
Not quite sure if I understand, all of them are align nicely to me?

If I'm misunderstanding something, can you explain a bit more?
Yes.... desktop is fine. MOBILE is a bit further down than ideal- but not really bad. ( the last text line on MOBILE only.
Howard
Hmm that's still causing by the empty paragraph you've added:
I believe I’ll just leave it a bit downwards as it is
Thanks
Ok sounds good.
Let me know if you want us to have another look.
