Footer element messed up
5 replies · Started by rajjj on November 1, 2022
Hi Team,
I have setup the block element and used the pattern library to get a footer that I like and have set it up.
But the footer (currently only set on posts) shows some other background text.
There are no active footer widgets or menu (double checked).
On the home page, it is bringing the default footer out of the box in some blue colour, but I cant figure out where it is set.
Can you help me get rid of the default footer on the homepage and the background text on the post footers please?
If I disable the element footer on the posts, the footer is blank (or no footer).

Hi there,
edit your Block Element - Footer. Open the list view so you can see all the blocks. Select the top Container Block. Then in Settings > Background - delete the Image URL. Then set a Color > Background Color.
Regarding the home page, what do you want to display there?
No footer or the same footer as your posts ?
Hi David,
Removing the image has fixed it and now I have applied it to entire site.
Everywhere except the contact page shows it correctly.
Can you check please?

Thank you
Go to Dashboard > GenerateBlocks > Settings and click Regenerate CSS.
Still the same, I tried clearing all the cache as well.
Can you try using Inline Embedding for the CSS Print Method in GenerateBlocks > settings?
