Hi :)

We're moving our site into GP coming from Divi. Our hope is we can optimize everything SEO-wise (Core Web Vitals). I am currently modeding the child theme to look more or less the same, but there are some quirks here and there I am trying to figure out coming from Divi.

My issue is:
I have added an element, block/site footer. In that I added a section block and inside that a columns block, with 4 columns in it. The footer attach and replace default WP footer as it should. But when I adjust margin/padding on either section, columns or content within columns, it is completely disregarded. None of the spacing settings follow through to the website. I noticed this with the background color as well - I ended up adjusting it in customize/colors, instead of the section color. So how do I get it to honour the css styling settings from within an Element Block?

I swapped GB blocks for standard blocks, and it worked... not solved per se, but got the job done.

Hi there,

sounds like the CSS either wasn't generated or a cached file was interfering - let us know if you need to use the GB Blocks and we can investigate the issue if you want to try again.
