Fonts appear bold when they're not

I have two sites that are using the same fonts -- one on generatepress and another on a different theme. The Google fonts on generatepress appear bold when they're not but looks fine on the other theme. What can be causing this and how can this be fixed?

I ended up changing the fonts and it doesn't have the bold issue anymore. Thanks!
