Font size in footer widget somehow got changed

For some reason, I have different font...and different font size showing up in my footer widgets on my site. Not sure when this started...perhaps a week or two ago, I didn't notice right away. I can change the font size on sidebar widgets by going to typography, then widgets, but it does not do anything to the footer widgets....which were OK before, anyway.

Check your footer widgets for any mention of a <code> element: https://www.screencast.com/t/CvE19MRs

Removing it should fix this.

Thanks, Tom, but I NEVER, EVER touch a line of code (in fact I don't even know how). I know my limitations. For now it is not a big deal so I will just live with it.

If you just open those widgets, you'll literally see this in there somewhere: <code>

If you delete it, it will fix the issue completely :)

Yes, I see now it is not quite as intimidating as I thought. Have eliminated that but change does not seem to have taken place. Emptied my cache as well. Will keep working on it. Thanks as usual, Tom.

Well, I actually found the problem. There was in one of the sidebar widgets...even though the text was OK in the sidebar widgets. Anyway, all is well now.

				Well, awesome is a bit of an overstatement considering my limited abilities, but I will take it.  Maybe someday I will figure all this out.
