Font not changing (!)

Hi,

I understand it's a pretty common issue, but I went through the posts in the forum and couldn't find my way. Can you help me find where the font I chose for body of text gets stuck? It is supposed to be Palatino for now. Also tried with Noto Serif as a Google font.

Let me know if you can help. Here is one post: https://www.topolocal.ca/2021/07/12/une-seance-photo-a-1075-pour-la-mairesse-de-saint-jerome-au-bord-du-lac/

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Palatino is a system font, which is not available on all Operating Systems, very few in fact, so when a device doesn't have that font in its system it will display its system font. If you wanted to have Palatino on all devices, you would have to own a licensed version of the font and install it locally.

If selecting a Google Font isn't working, currently i see the Body is set to Open Sans, then it may be a caching issue. Disabling any cache plugins, and viewing the site in an Incognito/Private browser will identify Caching as the issue.

I also notice some WebFonts code on your site, which could be interfering with what you see being displayed.

Hi!

Very useful advice, as always. Found the forgotten plugin that made it all Open Sans. Now in full control of fonts, leaning on system fonts for the future. Thanks!

Glad to be of help!
