[Resolved] Font Manager has a problem with fonts with a number in it’s name

Can it be that the Font Manager has a problem with a number in it’s name?
For example “Exo 2”, “Baloo 2”, “Brygada 1918” , “M PLUS Rounded 1c”, “Libre Barcode 128 Text” does not load. But strangely enough “Gothic A1” works. Any explanations for that?
Tested on WP 5.8.2 with GeneratePress 3.1.0, GP Premium 2.1.1, no other plugin activated.

Hi there,

Yes, this is a known bug at the moment: https://github.com/tomusborne/generatepress/issues/324

We’ll get it fixed in 3.2.0.

For now you can use the Font Manager to request the fonts from Google, but you’ll need to use some custom CSS (with the necessary quotes) to reference the font name.
