Font looks different on mobile (plus spacing issue)

When looking at the customizer vs. live site I noticed a couple of issues:
#1 The font looks significantly different (more bold, spacing between characters, etc.)
#2 The padding I set for the element that appears before each H2 is not reflected on the live site (it appears there is additional padding of 5-10px above what I set in the customizer).
How do I resolve both of these points?
