Font file not found

My main font was working just fine yesterday so I'm not sure what happened - console shows the .ttf and .svg versions of the font as 404s. But, the files do exist. I've tried clearing caches, no difference

i am seeing a bunch of warnings in the console: Failed to decode downloaded font: <URL>
Not sure what you're using to load the fonts, but its making a base64 request for those fonts... which isn't standard, maybe an optimization plugin is being used to optimize the fonts ?
Hmm strange - I haven't done anything recently with the fonts so I'm not sure what's causing that. I went through the steps in adding a local font again for GP but the same errors are showing. I tried disabling W3TC as well and still the same thing.
This is resolved - I had my font files in my child theme folder per the local font instructions but they were supposed to be in the public_html folder.
