Font Awesome Library

This question is not about Elementor but a possible problem with using GeneratePress Theme with Elementor Pro. I just created a new install with WP 5.5, Elementor 3.0.4 and Elementor-Pro 3.0.1. I created a menu with the Nav-Menu widget. This menu has dropdowns for a submenu. The solid down arrow icon used as the submenu indicator is set the the default 'classic'.

It looks fine in the editor, but the icon is missing on the front end. I used the switch in Elementor settings to load Font Awesome 4 support and now the icon shows up on the front end.

I don't know if Elementor is using FA4 for the 'classic' indicator or it the theme is somehow overriding the font on the front end. It was visible in the Elementor editor before I loaded FA4 support so I think something is happening between the editor and the front end display.

I hate having to load the entire FA4 library for one icon.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

The Theme doesn't use Font Awesome. If you can share a link to your site i can take a look at the issue.
