font awesome

hi, i have a question about font-awesome… is there anything i have to enable to use them? I’d like to add icons next to some menu items (the secondary menu in this case). can i just put ‘fa fa-bicycle’ into the class field on the menu item in that case? i’ve done this and it’s not working for me so i must be missing something. the typography option is enabled.

Adding this as menu label should work: <i class="fa fa-bicycle"></i>
thanks, aaand i'm still not having luck. my menu items for the secondary nav are like this. i tried without the info in the css field, just in case, but i'm still not seeing the icons.
No need to add CSS classes.
The HTML should work. Can you make sure load essential icons are not checked? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/general-settings-overview/
