Fixed sidebar after scrolling

like to have an sidebar, which scrolls if it is longer than the screen. thas ok, the sidebar scrolls in the standard. But I like to have, that the sidbar is fixed, if the end of the sidebar is reached, but the main page is not at the end. The mainpage should scolls again, but the sidebar should stay.

Hope you understand my needs :)

Have you tried this plugin?: https://wordpress.org/plugins/sticky-menu-or-anything-on-scroll/

Then you just have to set it to the .sidebar element.
