[Resolved] Fixed positioned header and menu

I’ve just started building a new WP site using GeneratePress. I am using the “Page scroll to id” plugin on a single page with GP Sections, then I added multiple links to the menu.

I would like the header and menu float or re-appear at the top after scrolling is done.

Any idea on how this is done?

OK, I think I’ve solved it with Sticky Menu in GP Menu Plus. The only issue I have with this is that it seems you can’t have a header image above the menu – it must be to the left of the menu.

Hi Debi,

That’s correct, having the logo above the menu on sticky would make it very tall, which would make your user experience on mobile very poor.

Keeping everything in line keeps the height minimal 🙂
