Hi, I’ve noticed, sometimes fixed header doesn’t return into its original form. I’m using Jquery Update plugin, but without it I noticed that same issue too.
I’ve created this type of header through the GP tools – Hero Header. And then just a bit of css – you helped me in the neighbor thread too.
Can’t see why, could you please check.
    With regards.

    Hi there,

Seems to work for me. Is there anything I should be trying to get this to happen?

Ah, yes, you should scroll to the bottom, then to move the mouse, then leave it and work on something else, then come back and again scroll, then at some point you scroll to the top and it remains fixed. I can record a video. Sometimes it happens at once, sometimes not.

Hmm, can’t get this to happen at all.

    What browser are you using?

Hmm – I still can’t get it to happen. Any chance you can show me a screenshot or video of the issue?

Strange – does this happen when you turn off the merged header?

No, the ordinary configuration. It happens when I return to the page from the point where it was fixed header at the moment. And then it just fails to come back to the original state. So for the page when I return – it’s the original state and for some reason it continues to think that it’s ok even when it requires to switch into the full menu.
So the problem I guess it doesn’t realize that it was in the fixes state and when you sort of come back it doesn’t see that switcher – that flag is somehow not in a proper state. That’s why it doesn’t affect when you need to switch.

Noticed, that if I reload the page in the state of the fixed header it also doesn’t know how to return to the initial state.

What happens if you turn off the merged header (the Header Element that merges the header with your content)?

Ah, I see what you meant earlier. Yes, it works without the header.

Ok, the merged header is likely confusing the sticky navigation. I’ll take a closer look today to see if we can come up with a solution ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks!

Hi, any progress on this? Or may be some other solution? Thanks.
