Fix broken incoming links by redirection

We redesigned our website using WordPress and GeneratePress. The new site works very well, but page views are way down from the old site. As our site contains a great deal of information, we believe there are many links on other sites to particular pages of our old site. These links will now be broken.

Is there a plugin that can fix broken incoming links? What this plugin should do is allow us to enter a table of old urls and new urls. Then the error routine instead of returning a 404 NOT FOUND error will instead consult this table and if the incoming url is found there, redirect to the new url.

Hi Robert, there are several plugins on the WordPress repository, try searching for 301 Redirects they will do exactly what you need.

The Redirection plugin https://redirection.me/ works great!
I've tried it out on a test site. Now I'll try it our real site.

Thank you!

Great to hear that!
