Firefox scroll bug: hit scroll up then loose hover over scroll button color chg

Noticed this with Firefox but not Chrome. If hit the scrollup button then no longer have hover over scrollup button color change. Any ideas what is causing this?
That's just the browser keeping the focus state of the button - there's not much we can do other than remove the hover/focus colors, but that's not great for accessibility.
