My website thecolouredcat.com has widgets filtering options in the left bar, but they only work when I select a category first. I want them to work also from the homepage, but I can’t find were to adjust it n the customizer.

I have tried disable all plugins to see if there were conflicts, I have installed classic widgets to see if it would help, but I’m kind of lost, I’m not a professional builder, so code is not something I do.

    Best regards,
    Marijke

(I have posted my second problem in another topic)

    Hi Marijke,

Your site is in maintenance mode, can you deactivate that so we can see your site?

And can you provide the direct link to the page where we can see the filtering options?

Do you want your homepage to have a left sidebar as well? Let me know!

    Hello Ying,

I’m so sorry, I have changed it.
    Could you check again please?

I have a leftbar on my homepage, but the filters do’t work there.

This cannot be a theme error.

Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium and WooCommerce to test first?

Also, try resetting WordPress permalink settings:

    `Hello Leo,

Even with only WooCommerce and GP Premium it is still the same. On my home page the filters don’t work, but when clicking yarn bases the filters do work. Should I give you acces to my site? If so please provide me with an email address and I wil send you an pasword.

    Best regards,
    Marijke

Even with only WooCommerce and GP Premium it is still the same.

Let’s take a step further – does it work with GP Premium disabled?
If it still doesn’t work, can you activate a Twenty series WP theme to test?

Please note that the filter widget is a WooCommerce widget so it’s unlikely that this is a GP issue – we have not received other reports on this either.

I would recommend opening a support topic with WooCommerce support team at the same time.

Without GP premium it’s the same.
With twenty twenty, I don’t have a left side bar with filters.
In twenty went one it’ doesn’t show the widgets.
    other theme’s don’t show either

I installed Storefront, standard store WordPress and I only have the widget product catogories list filter. but not the attribute filter widgets (???).

I added a new widget to this theme, and it behaves the same as with GP premium on. At the home pages it doesn’t work, when selecting base category it works. it’s probably also a bug in wp 6.1

You would need to add the widgets to a different widget area with other themes.

Did you try resaving the permalink settings as suggested?
I don’t have other recommendations other than that.

I would recommend checking with WooCommerce support to see if they have any ideas.
