[Resolved] Featured video instead of image

Hi Tom,
I wanted to use a featured video instead of an image. I tried the plug-in https://wordpress.org/plugins/featured-video-plus but I cannot get it to work.
Do you have an idea?

Or is it possible to link a youtube video to the featured image?

I found already a workaround, wit that specific plugin I could adjust a setting (Dashboard, Settings, Media) “Open video overlay when featured image is clicked.” and that function is working.
For feature reference when someone finds this thread they now know an answer.

Another option is using our Page Header add-on and add the video as the “Content”, then clicking the “Add to excerpt” option.

Where can I find the “add to excerpt”-checkbox?

The video I linked into my last post via page-header looks great.
But I can’t make it appear in the blog roll: http://www.elvispapa.de/

We removed that option in GPP 1.4 in an effort to make Page Headers more focused on actual pages/headers. The plugin mentioned above is probably the best method for using videos as featured images.
