Hi,
The featured post is not shown at the top of its own category. –> https://stage.knusperfarben.de/thema/grafikdesign/
Instead, it is shown first when I explicitly exclude its category in a loop of posts ( I solved the second by additional excluding featured posts, but this is only a interim fix). –> https://stage.knusperfarben.de/blog/
How can I fix this? Unfortunatelly this site is yet on a stage mode.

That worked 🙂 But now i am confused…. in the Category archive – what is the Featured Post ? How is that defined ?
Unfortunatelly I cannot share screenshots, but I marked the post “BUHM – …” from 22-08-05 as starred.

I want this article as first in its category (https://stage.knusperfarben.de/thema/grafikdesign/). But it comes third.
You would need to use a plugin like this:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-sticky-posts-for-categories-in-wordpress/
This will allow you to have Sticky Posts on Categories.
