[Support request] Featured Posts in Header

Afternoon,

I’m trying to a very simple featured posts area to the header of my site. What I have in mind is something similar what you find under the menu bar here: https://www.macstories.net

I purchased the pro version of show posts – but I’m a noob so can’t get it to behave the way I want. Is it possible to get something close this way, or am I setting time on fire? Thanks.

You should be able to achieve something very similar. Is there a specific step you’re having trouble with? Placing the posts in that area maybe?

Yes, exactly that. Getting them in the right area. I thought that adding them via a widget in the header would work. I guess I’m not using the settings correctly. The posts also grab the H2 heading, like all posts do. That makes them too large.

You could add them into a Page Header.

Or you could add them into the After Header hook in GP Hooks.
