Marissa
I have six blog posts shown on my homepage. Of these, three of the featured images are showing and three are not. I have not written or changed my website in over two weeks and suddenly three images stopped working.
-I am using Blogg from the site library
-GP is up-to-date
-WP is up-to-date
-clearing the cache does not helpI need help figuring out why my images won’t load. Thanks.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Can you try re-uploading the featured images and see if that helps with the issue?
If not, can you temporarily disable all plugins except GP Premium or WP Show Posts to test?
Let me know 🙂

Thanks for your response! I have tried both of those things already as well and did not have any success unfortunately.

StaffCustomer SupportHmm do those images show up normally in the default WordPress posts page without WP Show Posts?

I’m not sure what to do to test that. When I deactivate WP Show Posts the homepage just lists a shortcode and that’s it.

StaffCustomer SupportSo in your default WordPress posts page set in Readings settings:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/settings-reading-screen/Do those featured image shows up?

I am still not clear on what you’re asking. I am looking at the Reading Settings page as well as the link you sent and there’s no featured images anywhere to be found, the Reading Settings just lists a few options to choose from but there’s no featured images anywhere.

StaffCustomer SupportCan you link me to the page which you’ve set to the posts page under Readings settings?
Any reason you are using WP Show Posts to display your posts instead of the default posts page?

I am not sure how to link to the page without it taking you to the homepage. But I am using the “Blogg” site theme from GP Premium and the page I’m using is Blogg 1. WP Show Posts is a required plugin for using Blogg in GP Premium, it gets installed when you use the Blogg site theme from the site library.

StaffCustomer SupportCan you create a new page (you can name it whatever you like), then assign it to the posts page in the readings settings:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/settings-reading-screen/And link me to it?
If you only want 1 posts page in your site, then you don’t need WP Show posts.

On this page all of the featured images come out fine. It looks like it’s when I select static page instead of Your most recent posts that the images get messed up.
I do only have one posts page and it is my homepage, but I’m not sure how to keep the format for Blogg 1 without WP Show Posts, I think they’re linked. I don’t like the format of the testing page, I like the format that I have on my homepage.

StaffCustomer SupportYou can achieve the same layout by setting the activating columns and setting it to 3 then activate Make first post featured:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-columns-in-the-blog/Then simply select Your latest posts under Front page displays:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/settings-reading-screen/Then you won’t need WP Show Posts at all.
I agree that Blogg template is a bit misleading this way. We will see if we can improve that.
Let me know if this helps 🙂

Thanks so much! I was able to customize my page to look the same without using WP ShowPosts. Looks good now.
