    Original post: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/featured-image-trick/
So I changed the way that I show the image like what if it is in the demo, with featured image diaabled:

But the image didn’t show up on the homepage:

So if I had the featured image enabled, what should I do to move the featured image around with premium version enabled?

If you want to upload the featured image and not show it in the single post, you can disable it with the Page Header add-on in “Customize > Layout > Page Header”.

Is that what you’re looking for?

I upgraded WordPress to 4.7, what I found is that after I enabled featured image, there are two same images appear with the title in between as I put the image under the title. The image on top of the title cannot be hidden even I set ‘Customize > Layout > Page Header > Single Post Header Position’ to hide. How to fix this?

Sounds like you’re displaying your full post on the blog page which also displays images.

You can hide the featured image on the blog page in “Customize > Blog > Post Image”.

I’ve got it, the featured image hide function is for posts only, not pages.
But it would be great if the function is also available in pages.

The ability to hide the featured image on a page? Any reason why you wouldn’t just remove it?
