[Support request] Featured Image slowing down site

is there any way to make the featured image load faster or something? It is slowing down my site greatly. I noticed when I use the featured image, my site scores around 75-80 on google page speeds, but when I remove featured image, i score around 95-99.

So the featured image is definitely the problem here. Is there a way to make it faster? I’m using wp rocket, cdns and more trying to speed things up, but I can’t figure out how to fix this.

hi yes, I have put the link in the private information box.
As you can see, the featured image at the top is slowing down my site. If I remove the featured image, my speed jumps up so much. Is there a way I can make the image load faster or something to increase my speeds without having to remove the image?

Can you try changing the “Media Attachment Size” on the customizer settings to something else other than “full”?

Its width area is only around 740px but the post featured image is loading 1000px. Try using a smaller Media Attachment Size.
