Featured Image Size No Longer Adjusted on "Your Latest Posts" Front Page

Hello,

Since I updated to Generatpress Premium 1.5.2 earlier today, I can no longer adjust the size of featured images on the "Your Latest Posts" front page. However, I can continue to adjust the size of featured images on other "archive" type pages, such as author or category pages. Only the "Your Latest Posts" (under Static Front Page options) is impacted by this issue.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. If you look at my site you will not see the problem, as I have temporarily reverted to a previous version of Generatepress Premium.

Hi there,

I would have to see the issue live in order to figure out what's going on.

Any chance you can duplicate your site and put it in a test folder? You can use a plugin like Duplicator to simplify the process.

Hi Tom,

I am sending you a private email (using your account issues contact form) with the address of the test site, along with login information for it.

You will see that the resizing of featured images works great on category pages, author pages, and other "archive" pages. It is only on the “Your Latest Posts” front page that they do not resize. This problem only started with 1.5.2. The previous version of GP worked without issue.

Thanks.

Additional update:

I just noticed that on most of the "archive pages," such as author pages, that the featured images are sized correctly for the first several posts (a 192x192 square). However, after the first several posts on the page, the featured images are then resized in a rectangular shape.

I imagine that this is related to the problem with the front page.

Ah I see the issue.

The blog posts are using the image size set in your Blog Page Header, which is a minor bug.

If you disable image resizing in your Blog Page Header, the issue should be fixed.

I'll get this fixed in the next version.

Thank you, Tom, for your speedy support. That did resolve the issue.

Please keep up the great work on the theme. It is truly one of the best out there.

Great - thanks for reporting the issue :)

I just released 1.5.3 which fixes this.

Thanks!
