Featured image showing up twice on post

Hi. I just moved my blog, InsNerds.com from Genesis to GeneratePress and I'm loving how easy it is to use!

Every one of my 180+ posts has a featured image and usually the feature image is also at the very end of the article. Since moving to GeneratePress the featured image is showing up at the top of every post, which means it's appearing at both the top and the bottom of the post...

Hi there,

The second image looks like it's inserted in the content?

If not then probably another plugin. Perhaps Lazyloaded?

Try disable all non GP plugins if all above fails.

Let me know.

Leo, I disabled all non GP plugins and flushed all the Caches and it keeps happening on all posts. What else could it be? I have no lazy load plugins.

Sorry are you sure that's not added in the content?

GP definitely doesn't add our featured image twice.

Make sure you clear/disbale WP Rocket too.

Yeah, I disabled WP Rocket also. When I click on edit on this and every other post the image is clearly not in the post.

That duplicated image in the footer is there as it's added inside the content.

Would removing the featured image at the top work for you? If so, you can do that in Customize > Layout > Page Header > Single Post Page Header

That did it. I changed that to Hidden. Thank you Tom. Great Theme!

Glad I could help! :)
