Please take a look at

https://www.pistakkio.net/contatti/

I designed a custom top image block, configured with Generate Blocks, modifying a preset with my personal colors.
Then, later, I made a screenshot of this block and set this as a featured image, because I want that this image is displayed on social networks when I share the page.

But on the page, I would like that only the GP block appears, e.g. the "second" smaller image near the sidebar, and not also the top image that is re-taken from the setting of the featured image.

Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance. Now my site is open, so that you can see w/o wall.

Hi there,

looks like you're using Yoast, which has an option to set the Social Sharing Image. I believe it will use the featured image if set, and you can hide that from the actual web page by doing the following:

Customizer > Layout > Blog >>> Featured Images >>>> Posts ( tab ) you can uncheck Display Featured Images:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adjusting-the-featured-images/

Thanks for help.
I knew that setting was divided into tabs, but it is someway strange that the setting for Archives and Pages is in the Blog setting!
Thanks and it works, maybe this post can help others to find this useful.
we can close!!!

Yeah its something we may change in the future. At the time of implementation the Blog Options were the easiest place to add them :)

Glad to be of help.

Another thing I suggest to change is the setting for the Reusable Blocks (Generate Blocks Pro). This setting is for me very unpractical to find.

In fact, in the Generate Blocks settings I see

Local Templates
Global Styles
Asset Library

but no Reusable Blocks

Thanks, I didn't know this is a core feature by Wordpress itself.
I prefer to use the Local Templates and Global Styles (as drafts), which are your features.

Glad to hear that :)
