featured image not showing on page header

Im not able to use images in page header so that I can merge page header with site header. The only way Ive been able to do this is by adding an image to the content and setting up a blank page header.
Hi there,
Is Add Background Image turned on?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-content/#add-background-image
Let me know
Yes it is
Ahh you are using Sections.
Can you make sure Customizer > Layout > Page Header > Page Header Location is set to above content area?
Yes it already is
Do you have Page Header disabled here? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/
No I don't. I've found a workaround though. If I use sections background images are able to merge with the site header if I use a page header with no image or content, just the merge button activated. But pity it doesn't seem to work as I assume it should with a featured image
Hmm it should really work.
Can you send me admin access so I can take a look?
You can use Account Issue here: https://generatepress.com/contact/
Leo
I have given you my login details in the accounts area. Thanks
Tim
Did you try adding some sort of content or padding to the content?
If there's nothing inside the page header content, the height of the element won't expand, and your background image won't show up.
If you add some padding to it, or set it to full height, you should be able to see it.
Let me know if that's not what you mean :)
Thats fixed it. Thank you so much!
Tim
You're welcome :)
