featured image doubled in extract

Hi there,

Something odd is happening on my website since the latest tranche of updates, and I'm not sure it has to do with Generate Press, but maybe.

I'm including extracts with featured images in the text widgets in the right-hand columns and the widget space above the footer. I've been doing this without problems for a year or so, but now I see the featured image is being duplicated or doubled.

I thought perhaps the first image in the body of the text was was being pulled along with the featured image, but I removed all images from the latter post ( http://www.thesupercargo.com/storm-princess-180-160/ ) and the image is still being doubled. This is not a caching problem in my computer as the problem is the same in the latest Firefox version (my browser of choice) as it is in Chrome and a clean install of Opera.

Any pointers or suggestions of what I might do to fix this gratefully received!
