Featured image

Hello,
I'm trying to have a Featured Image attached to my posts that can be read by other sites, such as Linkedin, but that does NOT appear on the actual post. Is this possible?
Currently, I'm unable to do this.
I'm a bit confused if this is because Sections has been deprecated, and I have not setup Blocks yet.
Hi Damon,
You can assign a featured image in the post editor, then go to customize > layout > blog > Featured Images > Posts, uncheck the Display featured images box.
