[Support request] Featured Content Slider for Marketing

Hello, I am using the Marketing theme for my blog. I have a blog-style layout for my home page. Bing has not indexed my site yet. It says one of the issues it has with my site is that the home page does not display an <h1> tag. The Titles to the blog posts are all using <h2> for the title of each post. Is there a featured content slider plugin that you would recommend that would work well with this theme? I was thinking perhaps if I install the featured content slider on the homepage, I could change the titles for each post to <h1> or something.

Hi there,

I’m not exactly sure what you meant by “Featured Content Slider” plugin but I can say that GP will work with any plugins that are well-coded and built to work with any WordPress themes.

I believe Smart Slider 3 is a popular choice but not sure if it will work with your requirements – worth a try 🙂

An alternative solution would be to create a block element page hero with an <h1> in it:

I could change the titles for each post to <h1> or something.

That is a bad idea as there should only be one <h1> per page.
