Hi,
I am trying to get my home blog page to have page spanning featured blog posts (just their images with title overlay) under the header area. For the rest of the page, I’d still like to keep the side bar and footer areas.
Examples are https://www.intrepidtravel.com/adventures/ and https://snorkelaroundtheworld.com/
Is this possible with WP Show Posts plug-in by Tom, should I try the masonry feature or another method?

You should be able to achieve that with Tom’s WP Show Posts and our page header add-on.
