[Support request] Feature suggestion: Popups

I was looking for something very lightweight for popups, and I was coming up pretty empty until I came across Advanced Popups (thanks to a suggestion on the GenerateBlocks forum). It’s not perfect, though, because it is not respecting GB styling at all and the display rules are a little lacking compared to GP element display rules. That got me to thinking – this would be awesome functionality to incorporate into GP elements! A different element type called “popup” that would bring up this additional fieldset of popup settings (but use the better GP display rules).

Anyway… think about it! Would LOVE to see this happen.

p.s. If you have any suggestions for making this plugin respect GB styling, that would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the suggestion! We’ll be looking at popups along with our interactions feature we’re going to be building in GenerateBlocks.

Question: Is there a roadmap for GP/GB out there anywhere? I haven’t heard anything about the interactions feature, but would love to read about whatever is planned. I have really fallen in love with everything Generate – I’m so happy with all the awesome stuff I’ve been able to build with it. You guys really make my life so much easier!

Not currently, but we are discussing the best way to host a public roadmap. We have a couple of options we’re weighing right now.
