There is this message on every new wordpress site after activating the GP plugin:
“GP Premium requires GeneratePress to be your active theme. Install now.”

Clicking on “Install now.” leads me to your wiki.

    This confuses me.

    For two reasons.

    1. Why not directly point to /wp-admin/theme-install.php?theme=generatepress
    2. Even better would be checking that I have the theme already installed and asking me to activate it!

A year ago I was about to ditch wordpress alltogether until GP. Thank you so much! Can’t wait for GB news!

    Hi there,

Thanks for this! Updated the URL in 1.13.0 to link to the install page.

I’m not sure if a function exists to see if a plugin is installed but not activated, I’ll look into that.

Big GB news coming soon! 1.2.0 is almost ready for testing, and it’s a huge update.
