Whats the status on letter spacing?

It's still planned, it just hasn't made it into an update yet.

I've just escalated our ticket for it to make sure it gets done :)

I am just trying to it with csss h1.entry-title, but it doesen't seem to work because i've made the h1 tags and p tag with Elementor. Then i've found this: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/h1-tag-and-line-height/ stating the problem is that elementor overrides even though its set to standard and Elementor and Disable Default Colours as well as Disable Default Fonts is marked in Elementor. Got any clue why elementor still overrides it?

Hi there,

Elementor uses this explicit class .elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title to set the H1's padding, margin and line height. So you can target that with CSS to change it globally.

Alternatively you can use their text widget and select the H1 element - this respects the theme.

Hi Tom, just wanted to bump up this thread in light of any upcoming update. It would be very handy if you could slot in letter spacing for typography in the Customizer. Maybe it was forgotten in 1.9 and 1.9.1?
