Header disappears after editing with visual composer

I am using header as navigation with Generate press. After I edit a page with visual composer (new user) the navigation as header disappears. If I add a new page with visual composer, no header shows up. If i add a page with wordpress and test, the header shows.
If I make an edit to the page with the header with visual composer, header disappears. help please.
two pages that this happened on were careers and contact us.
Hi there,
Looks like visual composer is removing the theme header for some reason.
Perhaps a setting within their plugin?
Can you check with their support first?
