    Hello everyone,
This is my first post in the forum. I’m new to GeneratePress and also frameworks.

    My question to everyone is:
What plugins and frameworks play nice with GeneratePress?

I would love to hear what everyone is using to compliment GeneratePress.

Thanks to Tom for creating this amazing theme.

    Hi Daniel,

    Glad you’re enjoying the theme!

Since GP is built using 100% WordPress standards, any plugin built to work with all themes will work with GP.

We have a cool GeneratePress group on Facebook where you might get more discussion revolving around favorite plugins etc: https://www.facebook.com/groups/generatepress/

Also, I just bought WP Posts Pro.

Tom I have been using WPSP today to add some featured posts from the blog to the home page.
On the blog page I am using GP Masonry.
However, WPSP and GP posts don’t look consistent, as they are styled differently.
Being that WPSP and GP are both made by you, could we not have a more consistent look and feel between the two without having to do to much extra styling?

You could get something quite close using WPSP, however they are different projects, so I went with a slightly different look.

Once something is released it’s not really possible to change the look all that much, as people expect consistency when they update (rightfully).

    Thanks for the reply Tom.
Would be good if you could add the social sharing links and read more buttons form WPSP to GP, then you would not need to change WPSP and GP would be more consistent design wise when using the two together.
Customiser support for blog buttons would be sweet too πŸ™‚

    I agree, that’s something I wouldn’t mind adding to GP πŸ™‚
