I just switched from Elementor to GenerateBlocks (google page speed numbers are awesome!). Looking at Pingdom it says my page is 1.6 Mb (load time was 315 ms!!!!).
Not complaining about the load time but I think there is an issue with the favicon. If I’m reading the results correctly almost half the size of the 1.6 comes from the favicon???? Is that possible?
Prior to the change my site was well below 1MB (but it was much different). I don’t remember ever seeing the favicon come in as high as it is now.
Any chance you can confirm the bulk of the 1.6 is from the favicon and if so how do I fix that?
