[Support request] Favicon Not Showing

I started my site a month ago.

And I uploaded my favicon to both the Root directory and inside the customizer.

Then I submitted the Sitemap to the Search console as well.

But the Favicon is not showing on the Search. When i open the site, the browser loads the favicon.

How to fix this? Is there any issues with favicon?

Hi there,

whether google shows the favicon in mobile search is up to google and their wonderful algorithms.

However to minimise their being a technical issue with the favicon files, then you may want to:

1. Use a favicon generator to create your icon eg.
https://realfavicongenerator.net

2. remove the favicon from the the Customizer > Site Identity and instead directly upload the .ico file to the root of your site.
