    Hello,
    After updating to version 2.2.1, a premium option is not showing in WordPress. Also my theme becomes basic without premium. Please help

    I am facing an error after updating the theme. I cannot see the premium features in the WordPress plugin after updating the theme. Also when I am uploading the latest version of the plugin in WordPress, it is showing already exists.

    Hi there,

    1. in Dashboard > Themes – do you have the GeneratePress theme activated?
    2. in Dashboard > Plugins – do you have the GP Premium plugin installed and activated?

    If you do then go to Appearance > GeneratePress and check you have activated the modules you need.

    Yes, I have generatepress theme activated.

    In the plugin section, the GP premium plugin is not showing.
    When I am uploading the plugin, it is showing already exists but not showing in the plugin section.

    instead of that it generatepress is showing in the theme section where premium options are not there.

    We don’t do live chat.

    You will need to access your site via FTP.
    And look for the GP-Premium folder in: /public/wp-content/plugins/
    Then delete the GP-Premium folder.

    If you not sure how to do that, then ask your Host, they should be able to assist.

    Once that is deleted you can then upload the latest version of the plugin.

    Your current settings are saved in you database so those will not be lost.
