go to Appearance > Element and edit your Footer Block Element, you should then select the Buttons Block ( make sure its the parent container and not the individual icon buttons ) and its toolbar, drag the block into the next column.

Hi David - this was the first thing I tried but might be missing the obvious!. I have highighted the container (oblong wider than the button itself) and tried left clicking on it and dragging, right clicking and dragging but nothing happens. I have tried this with other items in other parts of the site and just dont seem to be able to move them ???

Gutenburg is not a typical drag and drop page builder, when you drag the block, aim the 6 dots:

But it's not easy to use, I would recommend just creating a new one under the phone number.

Hi Ying - I am not seeing the 6 dots! Have tried with other pages / blocks and cant find it there either....

Hi Ying - I highlight the block (get blue surround) but there are no 6 dots. have tried on other pages too and cant see it. Is the toolbar the one at the top of the page - above where it says "footer template" ot should there be something closer to the block itself? Apoologies for such a simple question...

In the Block editor go to the very top menu right hand side and click the 3 dot menu, at the top the menu theres an option called Top Toolbar - click that to disable it. Now the toolbar will be above the Block you select and you will see options that Ying showed.

But as Ying said - it may be easier to simply create a new block where you require it. And delete the existing one.
