External links not adding to menu

Hello... after adding external links to main menu... I'm getting a page not found error.

I'm trying to add this link http://197.138.11.101/student to Portal which is a submenu under Student Menu
Are you choosing Custom Link in the menu builder ?
If you are and WP is removing it then its because WP sees it as an invalid link.
Yes.. I'm choosing custom link. How do I make it valid?
Hmmm... i tested the URL you provided above on my test server and it worked.
Can you show me a screenshot of how you're adding the URL to the Custom Link?
The link is working on other websites but not on this... NB: The other Websites are still using GP.
Do you have any security plugins running ?
