Export Header from "Capital" Theme from Site Library

Hello GeneratePress Forum members and team,

I am planning to move my site (currently U-Design WordPress Theme from Themeforest) to GeneratePress.

I am planning to use the GeneratePress theme without using the Site Library. I will be using GenerateBlocks.

But for the Header part I want to export the header from "Capital" Theme and then import it to my website.

My question: Is it a good idea to export the header and then importing it to my GeneratePress website. Or do you think it is better to do it from scratch. (Better, I mean for SEO and technical correct implementation)

Kind Regards
Sascha

Hi Sascha,

Individual sections in GP Site library templates can't be exported, unless they're an Element. You can export and Element in Tools > Export. In that regard, you can export the top bar of Capital. You can also export the CTA button created through the Block Element. You can copy and paste other Blocks manually.

SEO-wise, there shouldn't be an issue with regards to exporting Elements or copying and pasting blocks.

Hello Fernando,

thank you.

Actually I meant the Header Element. That what you have mentioned.

So my question has been answered :)

Kind Regards
Sascha

You're welcome Sascha! :)
