Exclude Hook Elements from Pagination Pages

Hello,
I've added some custom HTML code in several different Hook elements (regular hook element not block), to each be shown on specific product category pages. But I'm trying to exclude these hook elements from showing up on subsequent pages of their respective category: page/2/, page/3/, page/4/, etc.
Just wondering how I can achieve this?
