Exclude current post from Latest Posts Widget

Hello GP Team!
Please, reveal this issue – how to filter WP Latest Posts Block put as widget, for not showing the current post again on the list?
Hi there,
looking at this open Git Issue i don't think that Block has any filters to modify its behaviour. You would need to use an alternative method for displaying latest posts.

I'm going to use WP Show Posts. WPSP list can exclude current post, however its markup is a bit too extensive for widget case.
