Excerpts not appearing on blog page

Hi there,
My site's homepage (linked below) which also has shows the latest posts is not showing the excerpts of the listed blog posts.
What might be causing that?

can you confirm there is a value in the Excerpt Word Count in Customizer > Layout > Blog ?
Yes, it is 35 words. Tried with 12 words also but no effect. Tried with full content instead of an excerpt but still nothing positive. :)
Can you try eliminating plugin conflicts ?
