Excerpt with paragraphs

Hello,
In GP, the excerpt shows the first content of the post, but without line breaks. Sometimes it looks ugly.
Is it possible that the excerpt shows line breaks if the real content of the post has got line breaks?

Hi there,
By default, WordPress strips all HTML for excerpts.
You can specify a more tag which will then include HTML in your excerpt: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/using-the-more-tag/
Otherwise, a plugin like this might help: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-excerpt/
