Excerpt with images ?

Hi Thomas.

I need a little help, this website has pretty long blog posts and they want the blog page to show like half the article and then a read more button.

The problem is that the excerpt only shows text, even if I set the characters to 1000 it will just show 1000 characters of plain text, how can I make it so that it also shows the images and the content with format and headings, but then at about half of it to show the read more button ?

Another option is to set the more tag: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/using-the-more-tag/

That will show the full HTML up to point where it's set.

Oh my God Tom I'm such a noob... sorry for asking such a stupid question :) I never used that tag before. Thanks !
