Excerpt on Archive Page

Hi Tom . Can you please help me. How to display the excerpt on the archive pages ? It displays when I am not using sections in my post page but when I use sections It does not display to archive page anymore .

HI there,
You would need to add a manual excerpt to posts using Sections.
In the post editor, open the Screen Options tab at the of of the screen. Check Excerpt. This will add an Excerpt field to the editor. You can now manually add an excerpt.
