[Resolved] Excerpt not showing in blog archives

Hi.

The blog post excerpts are not showing in the blog archives page.

I have it activated from Customizing – Layout – Blog – Content type – Excerpt. But the text on the post doesn’t’t show.

Any way to be able to see the blog post excerpts without having to write the excerpts one by one in every post?

This is because the content is wrapped inside nested (GB) blocks.

It’s a WordPress core issue that they still need to fix unfortunately:

A workaround for now would be to use the custom excerpt metabox.

Also, looking at your layout, you shouldn’t need to use that many GB. Perhaps just adding the headline blocks would work?

Just using the headline blocks have been enough to show the excerpts and Read More.
