Excerpt does not work in 1.2.9

As the title say, in settings->reading->is set summary & in customizer is set excerpt for 54 words, but after the 1.2.9 update, this does not function anymore.

Are you using the "More tag" in those posts?
If so, we talked about this in the following thread: http://generatepress.com/forums/topic/blog-page-broken-after-update-to-1-2-9/
There's a couple options there to revert this behavior if you don't want it.

No, I don't use them, maybe only for some very old posts...
Are you using post formats for any of your posts? For example, the image or gallery post formats will display the entire content (so images will appear).
Can you link me to the site where the excerpts are supposed to display?

Even if we talk about the homepage, or every category shown in the menu, the posts were set to image post type and worked fine, until the update.
I just edited all my posts in bulk and set them to "standard". Everything is fine now. Thank you very much for bringing that into my attention.
